Danita Rios

Director of Operations and Compliance

Danita has a 15-year background in investment and financial planning beginning at Edward Jones. She was a Limited Partner with the firm and specialized in retirement and estate planning. She then transitioned to opening her own company, Rios Trading, where she focused on commodities such as gold and silver for the next 7 years.

Her diverse interests lead her to become one of the co-founders and CEO of The Veterans Directory, an Arizona nonprofit focused on connecting veterans to the services and organizations dedicated to their empowerment. She helped to organize the nonprofit’s board of directors which was lead by former Phoenix Mayor, Phil Gordon.

Danita consulted a multi-billionaire on his philanthropic endeavors for two years and helped to expand his cutting-edge educational programs. Her desire for continual growth inspired her to write a book in 2018 titled ‘9 To Shine: Powerful Practices to Master A Happy & Fulfilled Life.’ The book was a #1 New Release on Amazon.

For the past decade, Danita has volunteered for the World Academy For The Future of Women, an international college leadership program based in China, and has taught in China on 4 different occasions. She is the past President of Creighton Square, an organization dedicated to helping feed, clothe, and provide school supplies to children and families in Central Phoenix.

Having grown up in a political family, she has volunteered and worked with many political campaigns over the years. Her father, Pete Rios, was the first Hispanic President of the Arizona State Senate and he and her sister, Rebecca Rios, were the first father-daughter team in the Arizona State Legislature

Danita is a native of Arizona and loved the two years she spent homeschooling her two young daughters. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and International Business from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and was voted one of the 40 Under 40 Up & Coming Business Leaders by Phoenix Business Journal in 2016.
